Operation Mahatma

Guys! Protest against censor, turn your profile black on 29th & 30th january, go for Blackout, wear black, switch off lights and speak up

Operation Mahatma

This has never happened before, never been heard before and never been told before. People across the oceans are complaining that they are consistently having a common dream. In their dreams they see an around 90 year’s old person who identifies himself as Mahatma Gandhi and ask the people to convey his message to President Barack Obama. He says that Barack Obama who calls himself a follower of Mahatma Gandhi needs to be told that his actions against whistleblowers specially in the case of Bradley Manning, Julian Assange, Wikileaks and participation in wars across the globe do not go along with the basic philosophy of truth, non-violence and freedom for which Mahatma Gandhi sacrificed his live. Mahatma also briefs people a message that he wants to be delivered to the President. ( http://bit.ly/eDlLLG) When people argue how they would contact the President, he replies as “just pass the message, just pass the torch to the next deserving person and the torch would definitely reach where darkness exists”.  Mahatma also said that he wanted the message to be delivered before January 30th (i.e. his death anniversary) People say they are disturbed by this consistent dream they are having and have decided to come together to serve this common cause. We have decided to pass the torch as fast as we can so that it reaches the destination as soon as possible. Mahatma also asked us to be non violent, democratic and peaceful in our endeavor.
So, if you had the same dream then join us and pass the torch of truth to the right place.
What we would do?
A. We would spread the thought and draw together as many people as possible who share this common dream before January 30th
B. We would pass “Mahatma’s letter to Obama” to Newspapers, TV Channels, Websites, Radio Stations (this letter would soon be published on our official page)
C. We would seek help of government, health department and experts to sort out this “Mass Dream” phenomenon.
D. To generate awareness we would also make calls to health shows on TV and Radios.
E. We would try any other non-violent and democratic mean to ensure that the message is conveyed before January 30th.
F. And last, we would keep dreaming.

About Mahatma, Albert Einstein once said “Generations to come will scarce believe that such a one as this ever in flesh and blood walked upon this earth.”
Barack Obama in February 2008 said “In my life, I have always looked to Mahatma Gandhi as an inspiration, because he embodies the kind of transformational change that can be made when ordinary people come together to do extraordinary things, That is why his portrait hangs in my Senate office; to remind me that real results will not just come from Washington, they will come from the people"(Barack Obama before becoming the US president)

Letter To UK Supreme Court

Lord Phillips
President of The Supreme Court,
Subject:  A Plea to Protect the Civil Society and Democracy from a State Sponsored Plunge

Those who set a sweet happy home on fire would never be forgiven, but those who were in a position to stop and saw the conspiracy can never be excused. This universal consent is expected to be there even after 50-100 years from now. The democracies that we cherish today and the freedom enjoyed by individuals today, still make this world a sweet home with minor curable troubles.
We are not politicians, we are not activists, we are not whistle blowers; on the contrary we are ordinary, insensible, self-centered people who give more time to social network websites than reading newspapers and going through government policies. And today, such ignorant mass of people are forced to write a boring and not so funny letter to you because they see a conspiracy, a conspiracy to set a sweet happy home of democracies on fire. There may be reasons why others can’t see it but we can see the direct threat to the very concept of right to life, liberty, freedom and free-speech. When the most powerful states of the globe unite and stand up against one person or one press or a media or a website, it suggest more than just a violation of state made laws.
Laws have been made, altered, followed and defied in history, but such urgency from the global powers that we have been witnessing in the case of Julian Assange and Wikileaks is historic. And hence we see a larger conspiracy. It is a conspiracy that intends to kill any whistle blower who hurts the ego of a state very brutally.
We have some very simple questions today- “What happens tomorrow when a state would arrest a judge or jury for pronouncing a judgment which in state’s views compromises national security and exposes diplomatic secrets?”
What should assure us that what is happening today with the fourth pillar of democracy would not happen with the third pillar of democracy (i.e. judiciary)?
And if such situation arises, who would shout against the attack on the third pillar (judiciary), when you would have the fourth pillar already demolished?
If you already have a satisfactory answer to these questions then we all should go back to the clubs, discos and internet as there is no such threat to our sweet home democracy. But just in case you don’t have an answer to these questions then we have a situation where silence and inaction is a sin. Hence   case of wikileaks, Julian Assange and Bradley Manning, which may well be just another case in the eyes of the law, need to be taken into larger perspective.  We are not experts of law and philosophy; neither we are the authority to suggest what is the appropriate action that should be taken by whom, but consider us as kids above suspicion who are reporting to the guardian (you) of the family when they saw a conspiracy to set their sweet home on fire just when they were busy playing in the backyard.
Yours Faithful

Operation “Black Face”

“Operation Black Face” is an event scheduled on 18th December  2010. People around the internet would display a black profile pic across the major social networking websites to protest against the state’s hostility against whistle blowers (Wikileaks and Julian Assange).  It would also see a number of people around the globe wearing black clothes or tying black badges on arms. The very same day supporters of life, liberty, freedom and transparency would write a common e-mail to UK Supreme Court (enquiries@supremecourt.gsi.gov.uk ) as a symbolic message from the well meaning citizens across the globe, pleading what the highest court could do to set a precedent for the generations to come that would protect whistle-blowers and free media.
This message would demonstrate the strength of the silent majority which today, is in favor of Julian & friends and against the governments in front of governments across the globe. This message would also suggest the governments that the citizens have digested and accepted the bitter truth as it came to them, now it is turn of state to have a face-off with the truth and respect those who helped bringing it out or else the majority would overrule them someday.
